We all want to become leaders!
On November 1, 2019, Ecole Ibn Batouta and Canada Knowledge Academy conducted their sixth successful Toastmaster session, the Youth Leadership Program.
The Youth Leadership Program is a workshop under the Toast Masters International . Toast Masters club is for 18 and above, and YLP is for youngsters from 13 to 17 . We initiated this program in 2018 and have been successful in running sessions consisting of eight, one to two hour, sessions that enable young people under the age of 18 to develop their communication and leader
The program is presented during our school hours on selected Fridays throughout the school year. Our student participants are from grades 6 to 12.
The program is conducted by Dr. Rashida Suleman, the Ex-President of the program; and Mrs. Hassna Fattal, the Vice-President.
The parents expressed great appreciation to the benefits of this program and are thankful to the head of both schools, Mr. Abdillahi Ahmed, and to all who are contributing to the success of the program in enriching the students with communication and leadership skills.
