MORE ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

École Ibn Batouta began as a pilot project in 2002-2003 and is running now in its more than fifteenth year. Students who started their education in the school are now in universities and colleges and have been successful in various disciplines. They have also shown great leadership and are successful leaders in the community. They are concrete evidence of the realization of the wishes and prayers of those who worked day and night to make a difference within our community as well as the larger Canadian and global community.

École Ibn Batouta enjoys an average of 15 teachers, and 3 administrators. Our teachers are qualified and professional. All our staff are dedicated to their work and strive to make a difference in their community and in the life of a Muslim student. The school has small class size and committed to keep a class size of 20 students or less.

THE FOUNDER AND HIS DREAM

Omar Ahmed Malow (Dr Rabeh) (may Allah have mercy on his soul and accepted his deed) dedicated parents and members of the community started this project for the Muslim community specially the francophone community and those who want their kids to become fully bilingual in a Islamic environment.

Ecole Ibn Batouta believes in making youth education a factor of change and progress through offering them high moral and academic standards that will raise Canadian Muslim youth that will carry on to be productive & contributing members of society. Provide students with francophone education from JK to Grade 12 pursuing the Ontario Curriculum
