PROGRAM STUDIES / CURRICULUM

Our school originally welcomed students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 8. In September 2016, we expanded our offerings by establishing a high school program for Grades 9 to 12, making us the first French private school in Ontario to provide education from JK through Grade 12.

We are a registered and inspected private school, fully accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Since 2017, we have been authorized to offer High School credits to our Grade 9–12 students, ensuring that our programs meet and exceed provincial standards.

Commitment to the Ontario Curriculum

Our school fully adheres to the Ontario curriculum, delivering high-quality education in core subjects, including:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • French
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Arts
  • Physical and Health Education

Our teaching staff consists of qualified and experienced educators, many of whom are certified under the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). Their expertise ensures that our students achieve academic success while building critical skills for the future.

Faith and Cultural Enrichment

In addition to the Ontario curriculum, our school integrates programs that nurture students’ faith, values, and linguistic skills:

Quran and Values Education: Students receive 45 minutes of daily instruction focused on Quran recitation, memorization, and understanding, alongside lessons in ethics and character building.

Arabic Language: To foster a deeper connection to the language and culture, Arabic classes are now held twice a week, with each session lasting 45 minutes. This dedicated structure ensures students develop strong language fluency, cultural literacy, and a meaningful appreciation for the rich heritage of the Arabic-speaking world.

Quran Intensive Program

Launched in September 2017, our Quran Intensive Program is designed to help students build a lifelong connection with the Quran through structured and adaptable memorization goals:

  • Grades 1 to 12: The minimum target for students is to memorize one Juz (chapter) of the Quran annually. However, advanced students are encouraged to exceed this, with many achieving the memorization of two or more Juz each year.

This program accommodates diverse learning abilities while fostering discipline, spiritual growth, and a deep connection with the Quran.

Our dedication to delivering the Ontario curriculum, combined with a focus on faith and cultural enrichment, ensures that students excel academically while nurturing their personal growth and identity.
