École Ibn Batouta was founded in 2004 as a pioneering initiative led by Omar Ahmed Malow (Dr. Rabeh) (may Allah have mercy on his soul and accept his good deeds), along with dedicated parents and community members. Their vision was to create a nurturing educational environment for the Muslim community, with a particular focus on serving francophone families and promoting bilingualism within an Islamic framework.
Over the past two decades, École Ibn Batouta has grown into a thriving institution. Many of our alumni, who began their educational journey here, have gone on to excel in universities and colleges, pursuing diverse careers and contributing meaningfully to society. They embody the values of leadership, integrity, and service instilled during their time at École Ibn Batouta. These achievements are a testament to the dedication, prayers, and hard work of the school’s founders and the continued efforts of its community. Our staff is deeply committed to providing an excellent education that integrates academic excellence with Islamic values.
The school maintains a student-centered approach, ensuring class sizes are kept properly to foster personalized learning. With well-equipped facilities and a strong focus on community, École Ibn Batouta continues to inspire and empower students to excel academically, embrace their faith, and become active, contributing members of both the Muslim and broader Canadian society.
